Pengembangan Model Bahan Ajar Digital Basic Writing Berbasis Multiple Intelligences Teaching Approach (MITA): Penelitian pengembangan di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI/MU'THIA MUBASYIRA
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa bahan ajar
digital berbasis multiple intelligences teaching approach yang dapat memberikan manfaat pada
pendidikan bahasa Inggris khususnya untuk matakuliah basic writing. Metode yang dipakai
dalam penelitian ini adalah metode gabungan atau mixed methods. Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian research and development yang menggunakan model Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari
beberapa tahapan penelitian. Ada lima tujuan penelitian yang dikemukakan, yaitu analisis
kondisi bahan ajar yang sekarang dipakai, analisis kebutuhan, rancangan, kelayakan, dan uji
efektivitas model pengembangan bahan ajar basic writing digital berbasis pendekatan
pengajaran multiple intelligences. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Universitas Indraprasta PGRI
khususnya pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris strata satu. Hasil temuan penelitian
ini disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian yang telah disusun, dimana analisis kondisi bahan ajar
sekarang dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan mengukur pengaruh
penggunaan bahan ajar sekarang terhadap hasil belajar MK Basic Writing. Sedangkan analisis
kebutuhan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Grave yang diaplikasikan pada uji
instrumen analisis kebutuhan terlebih dahulu melalui validasi teoritis, validasi empiris dan uji
reliabilitas. Setelah mendapatkan instrumen yang valid dan reliable, selanjutnya dilakukan
pengambilan data analisis kebutuhan yang sebenarnya. Kemudian rancangan model
pengembangan bahan ajar ini mengadopsi model Jensen dengan menggunakan pendekatan
pengajaran multiple intelligences. Lalu, kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dilakukan
oleh pakar media dan materi, mahasiswa melalui uji coba skala kecil, terbatas dan besar, dan
penilaian persepsi teman sejawat. Selanjutnya, uji efektivitas bahan ajar dilaksanakan melalui
pre-test and post-test with control group design. Luaran penelitian ini adalah jurnal
internasional bereputasi tinggi scopus Q3, bahan ajar digital basic writing berbasis pendekatan
pengajaran multiple intelligent berupa aplikasi bernama WriteMI, poster, buku panduan
penggunaan aplikasi WriteMI untuk dosen dan mahasiswa yang di-HKI kan.

This research aims to produce a product in the form of digital teaching materiaL based
on a multiple intelligences teaching approach that can provide benefits to English language
education, especially for basic writing courses. The method used in this research is a mixed
method. This research is a research and development study that uses the Borg and Gall model
which consists of several research stages. There are five research objectives put forward,
namely analysis of the condition of currently used teaching materials, needs analysis, design,
feasibility, and testing the effectiveness of a model for developing digital basic writing teaching
materials based on a multiple intelligences teaching approach. This research was conducted
at Indraprasta University PGRI, especially in the undergraduate English Language Education
Study Program. The findings of this research are adjusted to the research objectives that have
been prepared, where analysis of the current condition of teaching materials is carried out by
conducting observations, interviews and measuring the influence of the use of current teaching
materials on MK Basic Writing learning outcomes. Meanwhile, needs analysis is carried out
using the Grave model which is applied to test the needs analysis instrument first through
theoretical validation, empirical validation and reliability testing. After obtaining a valid and
reliable instrument, the actual needs analysis data is then carried out. Then the design model
for developing teaching materials adopts the Jensen model using a multiple intelligences
teaching approach. Then, the suitability of the teaching materials developed is carried out by
media and materials experts, students through small, limited and large scale trials, and peer
perception assessments. Next, testing the effectiveness of teaching materials was carried out
through pre-test and post-test with control group design. The output of this research is the
highly reputable international journal Scopus Q3, digital basic writing teaching materials
based on a multiple intelligent approach in the form of an application called WriteMI, poster,
a guidebook for using the WriteMI application for lecturers and students which are licensed by
IPR.
